Cancellation Policy

Retreats - Refund and cancellation policy

Due to high demand and a limited number of guests per Retreat, we kindly request that you cancel your booking 2 months before the retreat starts, so that we can offer your place to someone on the waiting list.  Please understand that as retreats are often fully booked, we have to implement a strict cancellation and refund policy, so that anyone on the waiting list has enough advance notice to make personal arrangements in order to participate, should a place become available.

Postponement and/or cancellation of a Retreat

Cancellation by a participant
If you cancel 6 weeks before arrival, we will refund 50% of total cost. If you cancel less than 6 weeks before arrival, then you will be charged 100% of total cost. This does not affect your legal right to transfer your booking to another person in certain circumstances.
Alternatively, we can offer the option to transfer the fee to another retreat of your choice, only if we are notified 6 weeks or more before arrival.

Cancellations by Five Peaks Yoga & Wellbeing
When an unexpected closure occurs due to extraordinary conditions such as inclement weather or illness within Five Peaks, guests will be notified as soon as possible by phone, email and/or text message. In these circumstances, an alternative date will be sought.
or
In the unlikely event that a weekend retreat needs to be cancelled by Five Peaks, we will notify you as quickly as possible and we will compensate you for any loss reasonably incurred by you as a result of our cancellation and we will seek to offer an alternative date.

Covid

If you need to cancel a retreat due to Covid, we will ask you to rebook for another retreat without time constraint. Alternatively we ask that you seek a refund through your travel insurer if at all possible.

Like for many, as a small, independent company it has been a very challenging time. Deposits have been paid to caterers are being taken forward rather than refunded. We are asking you to do the same if at all possible.

Please ensure that you have the necessary personal insurance in place to cover you in case of illness.
